Edmonton, a fine City with its festivals, beauty, initiative and people. With our history, which is a colourful one, we have developed into a society that is full of adventure, the pioneer spirit, commitment to growth and community, dedication, appreciation of our land, commerce, education, the arts, volunteers and concern for our fellow citizens. Historically this maybe due to necessity and survival yet these characteristics have become woven into our Edmonton fabric, of which I am very proud.
Our approach to life maybe very different to many other large urban centers. Affectionately, I like to refer to My City as more of a large farming community with over a million people. Up early in the morning, off to bed early in the evening, tenacious on challenges, and we don’t understand the word “can’t”. Some call this lifestyle “redneck.” Call it what you like, but I call it home.
In the Real Estate business there is often the opportunity to introduce newcomers to our City. Recently I had this opportunity and I know my guest not only had a successful trip, but also, a highly enjoyable one. It was a pleasure to share My City and all of it’s bounty with them, including the Saskatoon berries.
We are so blessed, there is so much to do in this City the problem is not having enough time to take it all it. For your own sake, take the time, enjoy your city, and go ahead—brag a little.
Edmonton is an experience
